R-E-A-L™ BALLOON ART IS “FAST”
— by Graham Rouse —
Here is how to decorate with balloons
faster, A LOT FASTER!
These tools and techniques do not apply to every job, of course. They do apply to many decorating projects .
Once you start using the R-E-A-L™ tools and techniques demonstrated here, you will find yourself using them more and more often, because as you gain experience they become easier and easier, faster and faster, more and more profitable, more and more fun.
In the beginning, start with signs or banners of 100 to 300 balloons. Then, graduate to backdrops, walls and murals of 300 to 1000 balloons.
Next, stretch your imagination and skills. Take on entrances, tunnels, canopies and sculptures using the same basic “Speed Graphics” techniques you will see demonstrated here.
There is more after that. You will learn variations and more advanced techniques to add to your knowledge base and your skill set. They will all contribute to advance your art and business MadeWithBalloons™.
We begin here with and American flag of under 300 balloons. Projects of this scale can become routine and profitable for you at relatively low cost to the customer once you learn how to assemble them in 15 to 30 minutes instead of an hour or two. This video demonstrates how it can be done in 5 to 6 minutes .
Impressive, isn’t it? You saw loading speeds of over 3,000 balloons per hour! That is all the more impressive when you realize that someone using standard nested garland (precision wall) techniques would have to load balloons at over 6,000 balloons per hour in order to keep up. Nested garland techniques require twice as many balloons.
A CLOSER LOOK
You saw above how fast Rouse Speed Graphics™ can be. Now, let’s take a closer look at how to handle those balloons to get such impressive results.
WORLD RECORD WITH RMS™ BUILDERS
You might imagine that things slow down when you work with larger balloons. Maybe, but it definitely did not slow down Eduardo Seiti in his world record performance with RMS™ Builders shown below.
CAN YOU DO IT TOO?
The men in these videos have a head start on you. It will take good technique and practice to come close to their speeds.
It is normal, however, for relative beginners to improve their speed two to four times using Speed Graphics over speeds they are used to when loading single balloons or pairs into other grids.
Hands-on training with an expert will get you to those really high speeds faster. But, you should be able to make significant progress by observing these videos and emulating their example.
Use Rouse-Expand-And-Load™ (R-E-A-L™) balloon frames together with Rouse patented “Speed Graphics” techniques.

I recommend you try Speed Graphics first with official Rouse Matrix systems™ (RMS™) Banner or Builder balloon frames. Once you do, I believe you will want to stick with the RE-A-L™ thing.
